Alla was born and raised in the Ukraine where she was very influenced by her father who himself was an artist; therefore, Alla began painting at a very early age. She received her Master's Degree from Kharkov State Pedagogic University in 1998. She held her first expedition at age 29 in Kiev, Ukraine where she received critical acclaim. Alla moved to Baton Rouge in 2004 where she fell in love with Southern culture, which inspired her to use her artistic ability to create art explemplifying southern life.
